People decide to work with us on a self-employed basis for many reasons. Experienced social workers love the fact that they can choose which days they work and for how many hours, flexing depending on other commitments or even to ease into semi-retirement. Others simply love the fact that they can still earn a great wage, but with a greater focus on work-life balance. Parents enjoy that they get to spend more time with their young children and have greater control over their workload. Whatever your walk of life, it’s certainly a compelling option for many.
We’re proud to have been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating by Ofsted for our Safer Recruitment Policy and Procedures.
To maintain these rigorous standards and ensure we continue to offer the best possible care for our children and young people, we’ll examine the skills, experience, qualifications and values of all applicants. If you’re successful in your application, and accept our offer, you’ll be expected to work in line with our safeguarding policies.
