Connect
In a nutshell, Connect is a free community exclusively for TACT care-experienced young people and adults that’s tailored to the needs and interests of our members.
The aim of Connect when it was first created was to be there, no matter what, for our care-experienced young people from the age of 15 throughout adulthood. Over time, Connect has become so much more…
Connect is so many things for so many different types of people! We celebrate being a diverse group and welcome a variety of members, including those with different experiences of care, members with diverse needs, and we can access interpreters through Big Word, when necessary.
Our welcoming community is co-created by members and a friendly team of dedicated staff (many of whom are care experienced) and we offer content and communication in a variety of ways.
There’s so much available with Connect – from events, courses, news and support resources, to freebies, discounts, and opportunities. Whether members want to access it all or just keep us in their back pocket for a time when it may be helpful, Connect membership can be exactly what each person wants it to be!
Who can join?
Anyone aged 15 or above who has lived with, or is currently living with, TACT foster parents can become a member of Connect! Upon joining, a welcome box will be sent in the post and the new member will receive their own unique log-in to the Connect hub – they can then begin enjoying the many perks of our membership package, as listed below.
