Getting Pretty Muddy for Cancer Research!

TACT staff, foster carers and young people got very muddy on 15th June – but all for a worthy cause!

Stacie Fox, one of TACT’s Children & Young People’s Wellbeing Practitioners, invited fostering families to attend the 5K ‘Pretty Muddy’ run in Wakefield, all to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The event lived up to its name, as the pouring rain made the course very muddy indeed. Despite the wet conditions, everyone completed the obstacle course – even with cold water been thrown at the participants!

All TACT participants wore their ‘could you be a foster carer’ t-shirts with pride.

Well done to everyone who took part. We hope you managed to get clean!
