Job Title – Chief Financial Officer – Fostering Service
Pay - £93,000 per annum + £750 per annum Homeworking Allowance p.a. and £3,777 London Weighting (if eligible)
Hours - 35 Hours per Week
Contract – Permanent
Location – Homebased with occasional travel required throughout UK

As TACT’s Chief Finance Officer, and a member of the Executive Board, you will be responsible for leading the finance team to deliver best practices, ensuring statutory requirements are met, maintaining robust governance and management of all TACT’s finances. TACT’s Chief Finance Officer will be highly qualified, able to explore new and innovative ways of working with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, and ensure long and short term financial planning supports our aims and objectives.

The key requirements for the role of Chief Finance Officer includes:

  • A proven track record in a financial management role within the charitable / social enterprise sector
  • A proven track record in pricing services both competitively & to cover our requirements and in negotiating fees with customers
  • An ability to provide strategic recommendations to enhance TACT’s financial performance
  • Experience of working strategically on risk management and good governance
  • Experience of managing a diverse and experienced team remotely
  • Ability to prioritise, plan and self-organise efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT effectively, including participating in virtual meetings and webinars
